Having only played Accent Core, this version(Reload?) seems a bit harder to land combos off of random hits, and more of the damage seems to come from pokes. Makes for some intense blocking sessions where position is everything. I don't see quite that much energy in AC matches.

Also, lol @ the hotshot comments. From the way they talk, they probably think blocking is for pussies...

I don't get it why the guy who used Chipp didn't use the triple combo...don't know the name, you have to oush down and forwars + pucnh, then punch then kick...and Chipp says thing like sushi, yaki...and then there's the classic slash slash, downslash, up hard slash combo...but it was pretty intense...I like using chipp as a flash character on the ground...but the air combos were wicked

Its true the first two hits are viable in battle but the gap between chipp leaving the ground and the kick connecting is enough for most people to block and get your ass.

Guilty Gear is the closest any other 2D fighting game to one up the skill in street fighter 2, guilty gear is more hardcore.

Chipp doesn't suck I like to play as Chipp but I wasn't that good I would have got pwned.

This is an awesome video. I'm one of the very few people who actually uses Johnny as theit primary character. I'm good, but I'm not THIS good! lol

In the 1st round you can kinda see that the guy using Chipp was trying to get a feel for his opponent's play style by evading for most of the round. Great fight! Both players ahould be proud of themselves.

well, remember that chipp does have the weakest attack and defense in the game. his advantage is pretty much speed/triple jump. even moves like beta blade/alpha blade apparently get weaker in air.

chipp is a good character only if you can learn to use him. so he only sucks for beginners who haven't grasped the concepts.

That's horisusumu. best chipp in the world. hands down. that's footage from the GG gigs tournament at the sega arcade in tokyo. i own the DVD. susumu went on to win the whole thing.
