External beliefs are physical death. Internal experience is death which is the Greek word meaning change. Everybody wants to go to Heaven but nobody wants to CHANGE.
I had no success at all; until one night I was sitting in bed reading a book and who walks right through the wall but my friend, the spirit of my friend! And she said Im going to make you a very famous person in singing country music. she got out on the stage and she started to sing and right in the middle of where she really needed the power! And her spirit-friend tapped her on the shoulder and started to sing for her. She said, Her voice went through me, the power. Deut 18: 10-12

Beautiful Gospel song Loretta I disregard the words I read above from the ignorant one meaning (UNKNOWLEDGEABLE PERTAINING TO GOD) amen and amen..bless you all ..even the ones who don't believe..From Cher5858
The song points out that while we follow the Lord, at the back of our minds we still rebel in that we want to go to Heaven but aren't willing to die to get there.
I think that's an important point to consider, and carefully, before we take it upon ourselves to confirm whether or not God is political.
I think Hunky3345 hit the nail on the proverbial head; it's a great gospel song that apparently we all enjoy, so isn't it best to just keep it simple and appreciate the music?
loretta lynn you are my hero and why should you other people who are like dont right wing god well u realize that she didnt rite it she just sang it and i think she did a great job at it dont critiaze her why cant u just say its a great gospel song and get on with yourr life and if its a song about god then shouldnt it be good
@melodykentucky I agree 110 %.... but both Loretta Lynn, most country fans and me are huge supporters of the GOP.. Most christian people don't want to erase "In God we trust" for example.. or remove prayer from school.. GOD bless Loretta :)
@niceley335 My comment is out of order now. It was in response to someone who was making particular statements that I don't remember. I was pretty much pointing out that neither party is Godly. If they do what's right, it's because it'll help them get re-elected. I'm pretty conserative myself. (See my channel.)
@melodykentucky I agree 100 percent. Real Christianity -- with love as the greatest commandment -- bears no resemblance to what's being peddled today. As someone said, the Right Wing has kidnapped Jesus.
love , loretta

Please don't confuse real Christianity with right-wing stuff. Jesus scorned politics. There's no such thing as Godly politics.
