Every computer will stutter when its RAM previewing. Once it loads it will play fine though. I have a 1.3ghz processor with 4gb ram and it works just fine. Yes, a little slow to load up ram preview but works in the end.

@MegaKarick You want to download a sound effect for that. Once you download the sound effect drag it into the files area (the area left of the timeline). To play the audio, you want to press the RAM Preview button. The RAM Preview button is located directly to the right of the loop button (both of which are right next to the play button).

The problem I have is... Shatter works fine but no matter how large I make the comp, the fragments disappear when they leave the space that initial image takes up. Hard to explain. Do I have to create my image on a larger canvas to fix this or is there some way to make after effects display the effect outside of the images canvas area? Help is appreciated :)

@Croaan12 Set the Force 1 radius to 0. Move to 13 seconds and click the stopwatch for Force 1 radius. Then move one frame ahead (press Page Down to do that) and set the Force 1 radius to something positive (like the default 0.4 if you want). Then the shatter will only happen after 13 seconds.

I'm making a video where at the end, it shatters. So I keyframed all the physics options and the strength. But when they all turn up again and the shatter starts, the thing just falls. You can see the cracks form, but it's not the look I'm going for. I want it to explode. What have I done wrong??
