@girguy101 MC is a pretty cpu intensive game, it has to render a whole lot as it runs. I'm also on a 2010 Macbook pro. :)

On another note: I've been watching so many minecraft videos lately, I want to see if I could go about buying the game but know next to nothing about it since I rarely play video games. (I mean as in buying the game, loading up, Is it a simple process or does it take a lot of tinkering?)

@DisorientatedNumbers Minecraft videos are quite the enjoyment. You just have to make sure you have a good narrator. Like the Yogscast and such. The game, I find, is probably the best $16 I have ever spent. I've gotten so much use out of the game, single and multiplayer. There are awesome mods, and fantastic people. Its also a great game to wind down to, you can just walk around, or actually do stuff, so many options!
