Very good video. Not sure, i think the bearded man symbolises Jesus and Life, and he watches on as the cruelty, senselessness and horrible actions of others causes mayhem, death and destruction. People talk with him because people talk to Jesus all the time. The Grim Reaper at the end obviously symbolises death and therefore it's the struggle of Life and Death on earth for humanity. The end when they walk hand in hand is your choice to embrase either of them.

This song and video are very depressing. I think it's saying that he is lonely and then ends up dying alone. The lovers don't notice him because they are together, the two of them in a relationship, obviously not three. He wants to save the woman and help the man, but he ends up failing. The boy kicks him and the kids destroy their sandcastle so he doesn't see it, scorning him as if he doesn't deserve to be treated fairly. Then he dies alone when the teens kill him him with the petrol bombs.

My personal conclusion about this video.
