Check out FIFA 97 now that's a polygon player. And to me at least even though a never before and never again any game impressed me as much as 2002 WC when I saw Zidane for the 1st time, the progress was made between 2003 and 2004, PES 2004 Is most outstanding football game compared to its predescesor.

If not check out FIFA 97 and FIFA 98 like I said, that's an astonishing improvement, but be careful for your mind could explode into a zillion pieces of how mindblowing it is.

Actually, in FIFA 2000 and UEFA EURO 2000, there were some mistakes about players. In FIFA 2000, players were blacker than their real life counterparts and in UEFA EURO 2000, they were whiter than their real life counterparts.

Beautiful times when you got excited only by the fact that you were able to play a football video game at all... Who cares about the graphics? That was a dynamic game with lots of excitement. Nowadays it is too tactical and sophisticated (or raher tries to be but fails even in that matter)..
