Muslims are against the same, but against women rights in addition.

Christianity and Islam are both conservative and intolerant religions, still living in the middle ages. They should be both rejected in a modern society. The one may be a nbit more "tolerant" than the other, but that doesn't really make a big difference. Conservative Christians are against sexual freedoms and gay/lesbian marriage. Muslims are against the same, but against women rights in addition.
So the best case for us atheist and non-religious people would be if both these religions go down.

@MrMemag Dude,Im not apologizing for anything,the comments I posted were the things Breivik posted on blogs and his manifesto.I agree tha evil acts were done in the name of Christianity,but these were not Christian acts,in fact they were anti-Christian.The acts of bloodshed you speak of would have taken place no matter what the prevailing cultural belief was at the time.In the 20th cent. more poeple were killed by the religon of atheism then any other belief:Hitler,Stalin,Mow, ect..

@TheDoogee I agree, but I disagree on the "religion of atheism" which is oxymoron.Atheism is no religion. Hitler had it's own cult and mixed views on Christianity. Sure there were atheists who slaughtered, no one said any different. My point is to eliminate hypocrisy of religious people here. We need to face it that there are bad people out there and that they are of every class,creed,religion,color,nationality etc. Murder and terrorism is not exclusive to one group.

Also Stalin is not comparable to Native American genocide(~50mil,maybe more).
WW2 ~(60mil) is, but there were murders on all sides, not just atheist (Nazis-Bolsheviks).
I think one murder is just about too much, not millions.

@MrMemag Semantics my friend. The study of modern physics,atsronomy, and the bio-sciences alone dictates atheism takes more faith to believe then faith in a god. To say without a doubt there is no god you would have to be omnipotent and omnipresent. You would have to know everything about everything that ever was or will be. So to believe there is no God takes faith, i.e. a religion. Bottom line is,the sinful heart of man is the problem, not the belief they use to justifiy the evil they do.

Let's agree we disagree on the god question, but we agree on the ill human condition. That is exactly what I wanted to say. There are good and bad in us all, it depends on you who of these two will dominate.
I know many people of all sorts and most of them are kind. Nothing like fanatics and mental folks.
I think they never knew god, only fear and rotten excuse for consequences of it. Peace.

I believe in the possibility of a God and anyone that claims otherwise is an idiot and consumed by myopia. But if one day that possibility became reality I would have nothing but complete contempt for that divine creator and would try to gain a close enough proximity to spit in its face.
