The single mode is awesome but it's way too short and it could have been more challenging. As for online game play I think everyone already knows that it's nothing new. It's still entertaining and I really enjoy it. Graphic wise mw3 is not the best shooter out there but it more than makes up for it with an stunning soundtrack.
To be honest, I preferred the money system in Black Ops for unlocking weapons and attachments. If I like the AK47 with extended mags, why should I be punished with the task of unlocking it very late on in the weapon level, whereas someone who likes the AK47 red dot sight is not punished as harshly. The credit system in Black Ops let you unlock what you wanted and when you wanted it. There are flaws such as if you want something different, then you need the credits, but it is better than MW3
@hkrogers Mass Effect is for both systems now, one Mass Effect 1 is a Xbox exclusive. Also the systems prices are roughly the same, the systems differ for like $50 - $75. Not as much as before, when the PS2 was going for $700 and the Xbox was like $400. The older systems of the PP3 could play PS2 games.. but most systems cannot now.

I agree I hate the fan vs fan stuff. Although personally I prefer Battlefield 3 as yes if it ain't broke don't fix it but, enough is enough man I've payed around $180 for the same basic game!!!!!I mean yes people that are new to COD will love it but as someone who was a huge MW2 fan (and maxed it out) I can't help but feel I'd rather play MW2 then pay $60 for some game with everything the same besides a 6 hour campaign that was way to predictable. I still found the campaign fun though....

@MsFish5 Consoles DO NOT hold back PC's, its the opposite actually, better hardware can only do so much for a game, it all comes down to how the programmer streamlines the code. Consoles have the same hardware while nearly every PC is different, its a nightmare for PC companies to code the game for every fucking piece of PC hardware, even with Direct X.Plus most PC users are cheap fuckers and get pirate copies, why should programmers waste their time and money on us?

I have a question... I know this video is old but why does everyone keep saying that leveling up the weapons with the abilities and attachments is a cool new thing when it was the same in MW2 and MW1 and even WAW with getting XXX kills equals X attachment
@MiseryDuke69 The way the upgrades are unlocked is different in MW3. You have to use a weapon over time to unlock it's upgrades, as opposed to spending money to unlock them.

Though to be perfectly honest, the one thing i would've loved to see, by all means, to have no aim assist featured into the combat during multi-player, It has always been tedious, and there has to be some means of getting rid of any and all quick scopers that've plagued the online bandwagon because they only wish to take the sniper rifles stopping power as a free-run quick-scope, rather then a long-steady area denial ghost in the mists.
I agree, whole-heartedly, A 'Game' was made to be fun, if you wanna be super-serious an junk, do it, but dont be an ass about it. i happened to try CoD MW3 at a LAN Center on their top-grade computer systems and it was real fun, the graphics increase from that of the console was shockingly thrilling, even to that of BF3's more movie-like cinematics, rather then having just the use of the in-game content as cut-scenes. very nicely done.

Both games have their own niche- Either you prefer to run arround mindless like a chicken and getting carpedbombed by a 13 year old kid or you choose to run arround huge fields just to get sniped in the head from a 13 year old sniper kid 700 yards away :) It's just a personal preference to choose the way you get owned :D. Well this is a PC statemend, i can understand that both games play hugely different on consoles due to the slow aiming and reaction you have with a gamepad.
That was a great review, i dont really care bout which console or game is better like how you said but i like mw3. It's not the best game of all time but it doesnt suck either. I've only taken a couple hours in the multiplayer and spec ops modes and their pretty fun. Sure it takes time getting used to the new controls and what not but its a legit fun game :)

MW3 is noob friendly with all the these so called rewarding objective players point streaks that don't reset when you die, but assault point streaks that are non stackable if you cycle back through them without dying... then the killstreaks are under powered because they give point streak points for destroying support point streaks so everyone has a stinger on all classes
I'm pretty sure it's supposed to. MW2 looked exactly like MW1 and we're talking about hardware that is almost a decade old. It's been pushed to the max already and you won't find much better graphics from here on out on these consoles. And with that being said, what's wrong with looking like MW2? The game was beautiful looking.
@ZeitgeistReview As for Skyrim, you don't need to "beat it" to review it. That's because there is no regular ending, you stop when your done on your own terms. Skyrim's non-linear gameplay is what should be reviewed, not the conclusion of the "main quest". The guide quests are just as integral to the story as the main quest. As is exploring or simply crafting. Skyrim is a sandbox with no true ending. Oh and one last thing, your smug pop shots at other reviewers isn't cute.

If I didn't know any better, you watch/read other reviews and skew your results to conflict with them to seek attention from haters. @ZeitgeistReview Nice review, agree on BF3 and MW3. The only thing is SAS is pronounced S A S. As a New Zealander it made me cringe when you pronounced it.
@TheWarheros Compared to Oblivion, it's a major step up. The graphics are much better and the npcs aren't as stiff either. The dragons are a blast, but don't expect much intelligence from them. The factions like Thieves guide are a lot of fun and really benefit the story. The crappy level up system is gone and the game is much more user friendly. The only con I see is the game feels slightly dumbed down with your leveling/char creation. Other than that, it's a solid game.

I agree, whole-heartedly, A 'Game' was made to be fun, if you wanna be super-serious an junk, do it, but dont be an ass about it. i happened to try CoD MW3 at a LAN Center on their top-grade computer systems and it was real fun, the graphics increase from that of the console was shockingly thrilling, even to that of BF3's more movie-like cinematics, rather then having just the use of the in-game content as cut-scenes. very nicely done.

The sad thing is MW2 was broken the hitmarker system For example they used the same stupid busted game engine in MW3 that they did in MW2 all they did to make this game was Rip crap from MW2…..that was Ripped from COD4 and slap a little retexturing on it and call it a game That’s NOT how you make a game for example when Bungie made Halo Reach they took 100% of the engine out and then built a new one building a new game on a totally NEW game engine a better game than MW3 I might add

Both games have their own niche- Either you prefer to run arround mindless like a chicken and getting carpedbombed by a 13 year old kid or you choose to run arround huge fields just to get sniped in the head from a 13 year old sniper kid 700 yards away :) It's just a personal preference to choose the way you get owned :D. Well this is a PC statemend, i can understand that both games play hugely different on consoles due to the slow aiming and reaction you have with a gamepad.

That was a great review, i dont really care bout which console or game is better like how you said but i like mw3. It's not the best game of all time but it doesnt suck either. I've only taken a couple hours in the multiplayer and spec ops modes and their pretty fun. Sure it takes time getting used to the new controls and what not but its a legit fun game :)

MW3 is noob friendly with all the these so called rewarding objective players point streaks that don't reset when you die, but assault point streaks that are non stackable if you cycle back through them without dying... then the killstreaks are under powered because they give point streak points for destroying support point streaks so everyone has a stinger on all classes

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to. MW2 looked exactly like MW1 and we're talking about hardware that is almost a decade old. @ZeitgeistReview As for Skyrim, you don't need to "beat it" to review it. That's because there is no regular ending, you stop when your done on your own terms. Skyrim's non-linear gameplay is what should be reviewed, not the conclusion of the "main quest". The guide quests are just as integral to the story as the main quest. As is exploring or simply crafting. Skyrim is a sandbox with no true ending. Oh and one last thing, your smug pop shots at other reviewers isn't cute.

I'm trying to understand if you plan to play X hours and say that was long enough for a review. Most people who bought Skyrim played Oblivion. The differences alone between those 2 games could take up the entire review. I suppose what I'm trying to say is how the hell do you honestly review a game like Skyrim when it's so non-linear?

If I didn't know any better, you watch/read other reviews and skew your results to conflict with them to seek attention from haters. I've been a gamer since before the 82' crash and consider myself to be an expert. It's insulting to see someone who doesn't understand games reviewing them.

@TheWarheros Compared to Oblivion, it's a major step up. The graphics are much better and the npcs aren't as stiff either. The dragons are a blast, but don't expect much intelligence from them. The factions like Thieves guide are a lot of fun and really benefit the story. The crappy level up system is gone and the game is much more user friendly. The only con I see is the game feels slightly dumbed down with your leveling/char creation. Other than that, it's a solid game.
