The Ouija board was from a home haunter's message board. Google search "Ouija Ghost Board" or something like that. It's a windshield wiper motor under the board with a loosely bolted linkage arm and a free-spinning cam wheel on the end. This arm travels along a warbly circle path. A magnet on the cam pulls a magnet on the bottom of the pointer. The board has to be thin. Mine worked better before I decided to spray clear sealer on the board. That caused friction and jerky movement.
Thanks for the compliments! The party we did before Fright House was a whole Haunted Mansion walk-through, but on a very low budget. Every party we do is inspired first and foremost by the Mansion. Glad you picked up on it. The voice you might hear in the background of this video is the talking skull in the dining room. It's my voice in a so-so Paul Frees inflection giving random speils. Happy Haunting!
Wow, your haunts are amazing! This is all very inspiring! I would love to do something this good for my Halloween parties. Was there some Haunted Mansion dialogue in there? Over all I got a very haunted mansion vibe. It's great!

It's great. The haunted mansion was always my favorite Disney attraction and I love when people take their time with haunted houses.
Out of curiosity, how did you do the Ouija board effect?
