yo bro...thanx for watching. i used an old preamp direct to M-Audio FW 410 through Sonar 6 0r 7. the preamp is a 'Real Tube "Blue Tube ll" dual tube preamp'. a 1U rack space with superb clean and OD sections.
and for the guitar, i changed the pick-ups with Gibson '57 Classic and '57 Classic Plus. and the tuning gear with Gibson/Schaller. I Love this guitar, man...
Absolutely fantastic, amazing, brilliant! Just love your playing style - its so effortless! I am trying to learn to play jazz guitar - listening to you certainly inspires - you are superb sir !
flatwounds....hahaha...you reminded me now i owe you!!!....i can't find flatwounds too so i used a regular Markley 10's....honestly roundwounds ang ginamit ko dito...pero definitely not a new set...
i think i used a Real Tube 'Blue Tube ll' preamp, from the 80's...a rack unit not the pedal. which i'm going to retire from being beaten up on the road,bumagsak na ito once. then direct into an M-Audio 410 interface using Amplitube's speaker simulaton.
@x89150152 .....hello bro....sorry for the long wait....internet is a liitle bit unusual on where i gig now...
scales (diatonics, non-diatonics,pentatonic) and apeggios (though i don't use parallel movements...people tend to hide on this technique just to state that "out" sound,it became the "cliche"...this movement needs to be applied musically).
the thing is to play spontaneous melodies...like Miles sais "Let's just play and analyze them later"..
makinig lang ng makinig ng mga musicians,kahit sinong musician na interesting para sa iyo.research on those artists (guitarists, pianists,etc) at makinig ng makinig to absorb their style "wag mo kokopyahin".idagdag mo sa musical vocabulary mo to invent your OWN style. like learning a new 'word' from webster,di ba unti unti mo ginagamit pag alam mo na ang meaning?syempre ensayo mo yun.walang katapusang ensayo.nag-eensayo pa rin ako ngayon.Bakit?Gusto kong gumaling.
hello bro...yes I'm a filipino. And thank you very much for watching my video, and for that nice comment too., I saw McLaughlin in your page....one of my heroes!!!
hello bro....i changed the stock Grover tuners to Original Grovers (Gibson's authorized replacement parts), and the bridge to a wider Gotoh for better intonation adjustment. They aren't cheap, but it's worth bro. The improvement is astounding! This guitar is well built, it's from China...those people are very good craftsmen. When i first played it in the store i just can't put it down. I just can't man! Of course the dream is a real 335...but i'm planning to get more of this... hahahaha
Really smooth man, you got a good feel going here!

@loeher182 ...
amp parameters....Treb 6, Mid 6, Bass 3, Gain 3 and Master 6 for max headroom depending on your amp.
Straight to the preamp/amp input. Tone control depends on your axe, p-ups, capacitors. So you find the tone that you hear in your head.
Yes bro...round 10's. Maybe it was old when I did this vid.
Action is not too low/high. Right enough not to wrestle with the strings.
If you can get flatwounds....mas maganda syempre.
