Yeah....probably knows what he's doin' in making them but I got seasick and that flute music (which is a particular song I love) song was absolutely outta place. Try again Brother.
Thank you so much.... I want to do this with my kids... they will love the idea of making their own... I think? they could also think their mother has lots it!! lol!!
On my sandals I eliminated the knot under the toe by leaving 12 inches of lace and pulling it up over the top and tying it just like a shoe. This adds to comfort for me, eliminates the knot, allows adjusting without untying the entire sandal. I LOVE these things. Thanks for showing us how to make them.
I may have made an improvement. Instead of a knot under toe, I left 12 inches and pulled it up over the top and tied it to the other end. Now, I can adjust the tension without untying the sandal and the slight pull-up of the front end ads to comfort. Has anyone else tried this. I just tie it like a shoe. I LOVE these things.
This is the version I found while in Oaxaca, Mexico. I'm sure there are many different versions; depending on which village, town, tribe, ect. you are from.
You can find vibram material by google searching "where to purchase vibram material". You can find the best buy from Barefootted he has really good prices on very good material.

I think This is an awesome instructional video but to be honest the background music is very distracting.

@OmenDark if it's from Oaxaca, then it's not tarahuamara, it's zapotec or mixtec =)
