This organ was first built beginning in 1425 it was rebuilt by 2 or 23 times, once by a team of monks in 1842. It was enlarged and modified although parts of the casework and a few pipes are original. It was likely the first example of a gallery placed organs which did not become common for a long time after it. A great example of a gothic case.
It is a fragment of the second half of Buxtehude's ciacona in E minor Buxwv 160. There can be some arguying about the registration but in general Buxtehude is heaven :) It is just he is so brilliant.
(I must admit, I started being confused, thought is was Bach's masterpiece the ciacona BWV 1004 in an organ transcription).
