This looks like a great video, but the audio levels on your voice are way too low, so I can't make out what you're saying if there's any other background noise (which there is... a lot...)
@R3ALSimShady Yes, I can help. First of all you cannot open videos directly into DVD Architect, it opens DVD Architect Project Files or DAR files. These DAR files contain the media for your DVD.You must first create a DVD Architect Project, then use the INSERT menu item and choose MEDIA, a folder dialog opens for you to select the video (media) you want on your DVD. The file will automatically be placed on the project's workspace. I hopes this clears up the confusion about opening videos.
when I click "burn" and then next then is something like this:The estimated total size of all menus is greater than the maximum of 1 GB. My dvd is 4,7 GB what wrong is with this? what can I do? please help me.... martonakj@gmail.com
@blackwebb30 Part 1: Quality depends on what is being sourced as well. Render out to "Best" from Vegas Pro, if you're making HD videos, use the "DVD Architect (24p) NTSC (Widescreen) video stream" templates . Choose "Custom" to set the aspect ratio, also set the "Profile" & "Level" both to "High"; set Level to "High 1440" if you're project is 1920x1440. REMEMBER you're project's aspect DVD output aspect is different, DVDs are ALWAYS 720x480 - ALWAYS.
@blackwebb30 Part 2: When you render the DVD select "Burn", then "Next", then "Optimize". From here you can set the bitrate of the DVD by setting how much of the DVD is used. Setting it above 100% may cause issues. You can aslous e"Fit to Disc" Also, clicking each resource (video or audio) and customizing the Aspect, resolution, and bitrate may improve quality. Hope that helps.
@DdogAnimations I created my account in 2006 before Google took over. Back then they had what special Director Accounts; I applied (it was free). This allowed me unlimited video length & a small page icon. My Micheal Jackson Musical Tribute is 52m. In 2007 Google made the Director Title just a meaningless tag; however, Google not wanting alienate those who had this Title in 2006 allowed us to keep the video length privilege. This info is on one the FAQ boards, you have to dig for it.
@EBTL0947 rofl! i could barely listen to the audio (because of the music) the music is used by my local broadcasting station for their shitty commercials.
@iPlayXbox200 Yeah, the audio for the intro is "Howd u dood dat", "Here, I'll show you!" and "Wow, that was easy!". It was my first time using Audacity, so I didn't figure out how to get it get loud enough to actually hear the voices (which are me).
It's soooooo funny that now that I have the BackTraxx music libraries 1 and 2 (as well as a few StaxxTraxx) how many infomercials, commercials, and TV stations use this music. I always thought they composed it themsleves.
This is just a quick question. Cause this is really bugging me and I don't know who else to ask!! I have added my video onto the Timeline, and I'm ready to burn it to DVD, but I suddenly lose my visuals....I also can't seem to add music to my menu screen.....Is there something you have to set to allow you to do this??? The visual is annoying now and I don't want to bad mouth this software because of it. Thanks!
@ADMediaEmpire Music can be added to the MUSIC timeline, (the speaker icon). The timeline is RELATIVE to Menu, Movie, & Chapters. Make sure you added the movie to the PROJECT OVERVIEW or WORKSPACE. If you just drop it on the timeline: it becomes a Menu background. I should have been more clear about how to actually create the menu, sorry. I just combined 3 videos into one, so it's not very well organized. When I upload HIDT.e2 for the BMF Intro, I'll do a proper tutorial for this DVD Menu.
@ammosmith I'm been meaning to do that. In fact, I have Sunday off..so let's hope I get it done then. But it will be about an hour in length, however. So, it will take time to render and then upload. :)
@ORGEN93 I will creating a HIDT episode showing how exactly to create this type of menu. But at the moment I have two other projects I need to get pushed (see comment above). The process is lengthy, because you have to plan the menu out ahead of time before you author it to DVD.
