  • no is to mark that it was the wrong reaction to the sound. it is a more direct way of guiding the dog to make the right move (actively guiding). vs passively guiding which will take forever. the mat is to help them keep front legs in place when transitioning positions. it is useful really only for aesthetics in competition.

    Operant conditioning works on most animals, and has been used on hermit crabs, turtles, goldfish, lizards, horses, etc.
