  • Beautiful like allways :).Good luck Lonlonjp best wishes for you, from your friend in Portugal :)

  • Such beautiful tone comes not from a guitar, but from the soul. The Japanese people are lucky to have such a beautiful soul aiding them. May you return home safely, and continue making wonderful music.

  • Lovely piece, glad to hear that you are all staying strong. My heart goes out to all those who lost friends and family.

  • I really like the sound of the steel string guitar over the classical one. Thanks.

  • nice job its beautiful keep it up

  • WOOO Mr Manuel is very goob this song ^_^

  • Fantastic work as always mate.

  • thanks lonlon for arranging an inuyasha song. I always wanted you to play one, you played this song without a doubt FLAWLESSLY!!!! : D

  • i just switched my electric to acoustic, and i feel like i've started all over again... does anyone have any tips for finger-picking?

  • @jebeschrist Well, it's really all about developing your own style honestly. You can imitate other people to get started, but once you've got the general feel for it, it's way more fun and rewarding to create your own personal picking techniques. You can learn "classical" finger-picking like our wonderfully talented friend lonlon or you can simply figure out what works best for you, whether it's using a thumb pick, freehanding it or a combination. And then, it depends on the song of course. ^_^

  • @jebeschrist The good thing is that coming from electric guitar, you've got the left hand down fine for the most part. The overall approach changes a bit since you've got to be more gentle and tender to bring out the musicality in a piece, but essentially the same rules apply. Then it's just a matter of picking up the "proper" and/or creating your own technique for the actual picking and strumming and you'll be set. Might take some getting used to, but once it clicks, you're home free.

  • Inuyasha!, wow lonlon, in my mind float strange and beautiful thoughts, that great feeling, I feel so happy :D

  • Cuould you please do an updated version of One Winged Angel and Force Your Way? Your vids and audio are much better now, so it would be great to hear them more clearly.

Thanks for another fine performance, I genuinely enjoy watching through your vids :)

  • Finally an Inuyasha piece! :) I liked your other arranged pieces, but I believe that Inuyasha's music themes are more heartfelt and touching and that's why I love this. Too bad there isn't a love button. (Not a spam comment.)

  • your little messages always fit the music really well

  • its good to know that japan is recovering. awesome playing mr.lonlon

  • One of the few videos on youtube without dislikes... and we all know why!

  • Yay your covering inuyasha, beautiful as always :)

  • Beautiful!

  • can you post tabs to some of your songs? they're so inspirational and beautiful

  • @chessismygame9 he doesnt give out tabs out of respect for the original composers-

he does however hold the guitar in such a way that you can see exactly what he's doing and puts the tuning and difficulty in the description of each video for anyone committed enough to learn it by watching him play

  • @JaCkMiChEaLs0n ooohh....thats whyy. ok ok nevermind :D

  • Thanks Lonlon for your inspiration to us all and also your hard work to your country. I must recommend Fuki Muri, an ending theme of Inuyasha.

  • @cheddarbobhouse1 Fukai Mori*

But please take their suggestion lonlon, I'd love to hear that played by you! =)

  • i'm glad everyone is okay and that the city is rehabiliating ^^~~~

  • Well, I hope you'll never need their help..

  • another masterpiece, beautifuly played. Every single one of your pieces is another source of inspiration.

    Arrigatou gozaimasu!

  • So fast with arranging and uploading. I'd love to be in Japan with all those neon lights and stuff. My uncle lives there and he's alright. He used to live really close at the earthquake but luckily he moved before it happened. Making an account on YouTube and subscribe you is one of the best things that I have done. Your music let's me concentrate, focus and think about 'things'. I see you as my teacher now haha.

  • A personal question, if you dont mind: what ever happened to you pinky?

my uncle is a professional musician and once crushed his pinky in the gate of a truck and he had the bone set so he could play a g chord. Im just politely asking if its private or whatever, its ok.

  • @danbaker90

A personal answer to your question, my pinky has been crooked since i was born. My mother has got a quite-the-same-shaped pinkey as well. So it was inherited from her. Partly due to this short pinky, i gave up becoming a professional guitarist when i was 18. However because of this pinkey, i must and can learn the guitar a bit longer and eagerlier than a person who has got a long and usual pinky. i am very proud of my mum for that^^

  • @lonlonjp You rock Lonlonjp....I never noticed the pinky thing though xD...it's cute :3...I had a friend who played bass and guitar with me and had tips of his fingers missing from accidents and such and he plays both as well or better than me, I was so jealous of him :( but you both rock

  • @lonlonjp

What separates an amazing performer to an entity of all performances is the ability to work around all obstacles, even those from genetics.

You sir, are an entity among guitarists in the world. Your music is beautiful and has feeling. We love you solely by the music you make and by how you can express your love for music as well.

    Keep playing <3! :]

  • @lonlonjp Your dedication to guitar really shows. You're one of my favorite guitarists on Youtube.

  • @lonlonjp It's so encouraging to hear your story. :) I am a piano student who hopes to become a professional, and I too was born with a crooked right pinky that makes it difficult to play octaves or play strenuous pieces. I've had surgery, but it is still quite crooked- however, I will persevere and maybe one day I will be able to make music that is a beautiful as yours. <3

  • @lonlonjp That's cool! I was born with a crooked pinky, too, though it's on my right hand. A little random, but I once heard a legend that the red string of fate is tied to the pinkies of soulmates. Whenever other kids teased me about it, I'd tell them that it's because my soulmate is so far away that the string bent my finger funny. xD

I still believe it, even now that I'm older.

  • @lonlonjp if this is what it sounds like when you gave up professional guitar status. then i dont even want to think about how good you would be as a professional.

  • @danbaker90 That's quite observant of you. :3

  • I used to love Inuyasha... I think I remember this song. It's so calm... :D I hope things get better for you guys in Japan. I know it's hard, but please know we are thinking of you! You guys are so strong and so brave... When Katrina hit, many people took a long time to get their lives back together. Some people are still in bad shape today. But not you guys. You picked up the pieces and kept hoping. Japan is truly an amazing country for that.

  • You are a great person, helping like that.

  • that last sentence about the guy saying he would help you in return if something happened is awesome that he still thought about that instead of just helping himself and this song sounded so awesome

  • its wonderful to see people helping out, and my heart goes out to the man and anyone else who lost a loved one. beautiful playing as always :)

  • Lovely song... A town that I live in had a little like dedicaton "parade"! We donated money to help Japan! :DD And I was wondering if you have tabs , because I would really like to learn this song! Thx xx

  • Thank you for providing me with great music once again. I hope you are doing well and that Japan returns to its former splendour soon.

  • This is great thank you. Are you willing to post the tab on some of your arrangements??

  • While listening to you play i started reading the description, and cuz of that i literally almost started crying cuz of the story of the man you met that lost his relatives and friends... I hope he hear`s this and it somehow can ease his soul if only just a little.

Thanx for still posting these amazing vids lon san,^^

  • Beautiful piece, thank you =)

  • Thanks.

  • yea i'd enjoy it my friend! =)

  • i can't help but think you're amazing. Still playing even in the chaos - which aparently isen't so much chaos anymore? o.0

I loved this cover, Inuyasha songs are 'easy' to play. I have learned one on piano and it was really easy! actually it was the first song i learned to play ô.ô

  • make me cry...poor Japan, poor man, who lost 6 relatives and 2 old friends =(
