He had a deck of sticker covered cards, all of them with the 9 of hearts underneath, you can se that he peeled off a sticker at 4:50, a part of the "y" in "Stacy" is Missing if you look at 3:20 the "y" in Stacy is longer and goes onto the jack.

He forced the Jack card on her. The Jack card was the top layer of the 9 of hearts. He took off the top layer and ended up with the 9 of hearts, but he left the signature on there. Notice how he tells her to write her name on the white space. That's the part he left on touched (it was probably already the 0 of hearts layer). Also notice how once he takes off the Jack layer, the bottom part of "Stacey"'s "y" letter is gone (which was part of the Jack layer).

Also, the participant had to be a pretty girl, because most likely, she would write neatly. If the participant wrote on the "9," the signature would get taken off after he takes off the top layer. It had to be in that little white space, "nice and neat."
