That would completely depend on if the orange peel is in the clear coat or the color coat. What type of vehicle is it? Year?
Personally I don't feel any compound is going to remove orange peel. Wet sanding will, obviously following up with M105 and than M205 for a perfect finish ready for your glaze, sealant, and LSP.
i have a badly painted mercedes which i patched up myself as well as a classic merc which i want to do up... having looked at some of your videos... i am definatley going to give it a go myself... thanks for the tips... ps is there similar products in the UK
Looks great at first, but what about the next day. You can polish a finish and it looks great when you're done. But the scratches may reveal themselves a short time later.
@viggoM35 great question...M105 and M205 do not have fillers in them. These products are super micro abrasives and work on any type of paint, fresh, OEM, or repainted. They key to buffing is to not let the surface get warm to the paint will heat and then cool. By using this compound and polish combination, you can achieve results that do not hide scratches or swirls. A tip is to work in a super well lit room with xenon and halogen lights both.
due to different humidity and temperatures, you use your finger to test to see if the product is dry to the touch and NOT greasy or oily, if it is dry and not oily....it is ready to be taken off.
Yea...lol if you can use a product without wet sanding its better its only used for bad swirls and scratches...anyways it take away from your clear coat thus its always better to use the least aggressive product but in this case it condition was pretty bad so it had to be done

Is M105 and M205 only for those who have a rotary polisher? I only have a PC7424XP DA polisher

@nova9403 yes these can be used by DA, but the best result is with a rotary
