You see, well rounded individuals listen to a variety of music genres, as long as they are talented musicians, one can appreciate the music and come to like it. It's interesting to say Bird play with a new band, he already seems a bit skittish with his own backing band. (When I saw him play their role was rather subtle minus the drummer Martin Dosh, who I think is fantastic and Bird seems to agree.) Anyways, I love Calexico, i love Andrew Bird but I don't think they really came together. Nobody really looks happy.. It all sounds decent but the energy seems only half there.

@justinmjones10 I totally agree - they look like they are phoning it in. The loopiness also is a bit tiring - no real arrangement or anything new to say. It sounds and looks like another garage band and worse yet, they don't seem to be enjoying themselves. The guitar player looks like he would rather be working on a strat ... even the horn players are playing it safe inside the box ... this was boring as can be.
