  • @miracle514

    he is a perennialist

  • Does he mention Eve? Adam is mentioned, but not Eve.

  • whats your point?

  • What I meant generalzeedot was that it should be realised women are equal to men. They are equal to men. I asked in my next post why Eve is not mentioned while Mr Abdul Murad talks about Adam? This is true in the christian belief too. It is hard to trust a faith that does not allow women to express themselves.

  • Ok generalzeedot! Read bits of both! They are very wordy I will admit. The first text mentions that free women are loose and that they get pregnant, are then a single parent family. The second link was women expressing themselves. It is a very complicated piece. Please simplify what they are both about in a few words? No complex stuff please buddy!

  • I pray that women become equal to men in all that they think and do.

  • Uh...as in perpetrating violence? What are you talking about?

I pray that men learn to procreate without us because we're sick of the job.

  • I think he should be the next Caliph

  • Great intellect! Once, born again, God will use you greatly. The goodness of God leadeth to repentance.

  • way too dull champ, kudos for being so pc tho

  • mashallah such a good man and knows wat he talks about

  • I did not know much aabout islam, oh man i tell it is beautiful, you guys just search about this religion, truly is from god, but when u do search, try to be possitive, dont try to find negative, because you will find one which according to u will be wrong but actually isnt if you really know the story behind it

  • if you want to know more about Islam, feel free to ask me.

    Peace

  • tranquil: You questions aren't about ISLAM. I'm American, and I have no idea about the politics of Saudi or Iran. I think you need to learn to separate religion from culture of some countries.

Can you realize that Muslims are people too, and we just want peace? Thanks.

  • DhikrAllah, So religion are culture are two separate issues? My question is clearly about Islam. Its Muslim people that are being murdered in SA & Iran..isn't it? I accept that the majority of Islam is peaceful and you should therefore speak out against the injustices committed in your name.

  • tranquil: yeah, most of the issues people have a problem with are cultural practices that have nothing to do with Islam...and I do speak out againt unjustices in Muslim countries, just like I do about America's unjust practices (the war in Iraq, for example).

But I think you fail to realize your question was about Muslims, not Islam. There's a difference, you see.

  • Islam = Quran = Muslims = Sharia Law!!! I don't hear condemnation from Muslims when a young girl is stoned to death, or a gay man is hanged, or a wife beaten or there has been a beheading. There is no difference. I am against the Iraq war as are most sensible people.

  • tranquilloman, wow you have so much to learn.

Shariah is dervied from Qur'an and hadith.

A young girl is not allowed to be stoned, and it is unIslamic for a wife to be beaten.

  • Test!!!!

  • The above deals with "Innate belief in the Creator"... The Fitrah of the Fater in all of us.... and not with the Sharia!

Shari'a is God's Law.. And its prescribed by both Moses and Jesus PBUT!

Adultery and Sodomy are both sins and crimes in Islam. As for wife beating in Islam, most Islamophobes are ignorant of what that ACTUALLY means and dare not delve into it...

  • how many women and children have in been executed in the west... don't be a hypocrite

  • He is Timothy Winters (aka Abdul-Hakim Murad, to us Muslims)... A lecturer in Islamic Studies .. Cambridge Uni, UK... Seemingly, knowledgeable in Islam, and also Arabic.. Good diction! [Better than mine, and I am an A-rab] Has spent years studying in the Middle East.

  • Struggling with my own faith for some years now, this gentleman really makes me want to learn more about Islam. Thank you, always comes across as respectful and knowledgeable

  • Very thoughtful video, subhanallah wa alhamdulilah

  • subhanAllah.. peace and blessing to be with you all, those who strive in the name of Allah ^_^v

  • amarbleinspace, first you must realise your body and this world is but transient

  • amazing , nice thx brother i like it alot

  • madina55. you wont get an afterlife when you die because all thought and sensation take's place within brain cell's and your brain is going to rot.

  • is the rabids virus beautiful? or a tidal waving that kills millions? a pathetic notion

  • You have nothing important to say, you make no sense so get out of our page.

  • MashAllah, this bro is brilliant!

  • Allahu akbar!

    Mashallah!

    La ilaha illallah Muhammadin rasululah

  • Mashaallah, this was very insightful. The recognition of beauty in its highest manifestation (i.e. the divine beauty of nature) is indeed an inherent quality of Adamic Man. Seek true beauty folks; but find God first.
