My old cover band used to play twice a week and we would cover Ozzy (little guitarist known as Randy Rhoads. Maybe you have heard of him? Much better than fall out boy), Maiden, Priest, Scorpions. A lot of 80s stuff. You can say what you want about the music in the 80s but it was a LOT more technical than this crap. Slamming a few power chords isnt hard at all.

It's a rock station that mixes Classic Rock with newer stuff along with pop/punk stuff like Panic! at the Disco and Fall Out Boy. It's more an Alternative station and some of the more common bands are Smashing Pumpkins, Anberlin, ect. There you go.
You won't find rock if you turn on Q102 or any other station that play pop, rap, and r&b and other dominating music genres. But mainstrem rock doesn't suck.

Honestly it has been about 6 years since I played this show, and I have grown a lot musically.
My advice would be to get out of just listening to fall out boy, they aren't rock and roll. yeah they are good, but there is better things out there.
Listen to jazz, classical, blues, rap, broaden your musical horizon, so that you have a better understanding of what it is, and how much it has grown

What exactly is a poser? Some one who pretends to be something they're not? What if they actually like the band? Does that still make them posers? No. It wouldn't. And I'd wager dollars to pesos that to take the time to learn a song means you actually like it. So, they wouldn't be posers. How about not criticizing some one for liking something you don't? If you don't like FOB why would watch a video of a cover of one of their songs? Just to a be dick? Well, gongrats objective achieved I suppose.

OMG! i forgot this was even on here. im the black haired bass player! except i quit my emo phase and am back to norm. 40,000views....not half bad. for all the haters, FUCK OFF! ok, like our ages were 14,14,13,and 13. not bad for a couple of middle schoolers! and since, ive gone on to win state competions in music, cole (kid on the red guitar) has exceded his amazing guitar skillz, julian is now an amazing vocalist, and tavish (drummer) is....well the same, but good none the less. so suck it

you played in an auditorium so the harmonics weren't right, it was echoed and was all messed up, but thats just the recording im sure live it woulda been pretty good
