  • How tight do you have your tension spring on that mower for the main deck belt?

  • you get a shot of the motor area?...

  • I can post a video of the motor area, any other area you wish to view? The mower is working great again this year. After you finish mowing the lawn looks great.

I've been working on the lawn for 3 years with this mower, it's actually looking better than it's ever looked before. I purposely cut the grass at least 4" high, it helps with keeping the grass green all year long, and it also helps cut the weeds such as creeping buttercup, and dandelions.

  • poor grass

  • That's right with a tip speed of 19,500 Feet per minute

    its a pure cutting machine.

  • So tell me one thing. why does that pully have those blades on it? It looks like one slip and your ankle could be severed at the joint.

  • 1. The wind generated by these blades help keep grass clippings from laying on the deck. Keeps the mower looking nice, and keeps maintenance easier, as Dixie Choppers have Grease Fittings not not sealed bearings.

    2. It helps with keeping the belts slightly cooler. By keeping the belts slightly cooler it adds belt life. So I've been told, (take that for what it's worth).

I lifted the protective deck for these shots.
