I made my girl a heart box for Valentine's too.. it was very small, just big enough to hold the heart pendant I got for her.. she bawled her eyes out.. couldn't help but think of that through the whole video..
@MrNorbi14 Certain types of woodworking may be considered easy, for instance in a production shop that processes the same plans all day, and the wood is moved from machine-to-machine that prepares the project for assembly. In comparison, a one man garage-shop woodworker uses the same tools for all projects which requires forethought in managing the order the of machining the wood. Many times ingenuity is required to create jigs for particular cuts that the machinery cannot create alone.
Your last vid your shop looked all neat. Now this one looks more like mine. I find if you spread it out thin enough. No problem to find anything! Great vid! Be safe! Hope you drop over and have a look at my channel. I think you would get Hooked!
is that amber shellac you finished the box with? is the whole thing done in white oak? I have a bunch of red oak I need to use for something...maybe this..the problem is ...I sold my scroll saw. Never used it...after I sold it....every project I see needs a scroll saw. Guess I'll have to buy another one.
your wife is a lucky woman, your a great guy, loads of enthusiasm i love watchin your vids plus you crafted her a beautiful beautiful gift. that took a lot of time and hard work.
@mersyturning Thanks for the kind words and complements. My wife was overjoyed when I gave it to her—even a little teary eyed. Thanks for watching. More to come.
OMG, Guy, that is fantastic. If that does not melt someone's heart nothing will. You are in for a good evening, my friend! Seriously, that looks very nice. I am going to steal the idea and the design.
