  • gj mate

  • Really shows off the need for decent shaders....

  • This is much better than a "decent" looking ocean.

  • Wow nais

  • very nice video i have been following your tutorials but i decided to code on my laptop which has an IntelGMA chip and it gives me an Exception when i run your code in other tutorials i have seen them fixing it by changing int to short in the indices method (actually this is from riemers tutorial) how can i fix that for your ocean??

  • @Nickolakis21aek You can't, the ocean uses a pixel shader that is too high for your graphics chip.

  • you forgot to close ur messenger :P

  • great and simple tutorial ! thanks =] !

    easy and simple , applied.

  • lol, are those Lego trees? cool vid.

  • Lol, the beginning made me think this video was going to be pathetic. Then all of a sudden it changes into a decent looking ocean.

  • make that very good looking!

  • Nice, are you using refraction on that water too, hard to tell from the clip.

Not read your HLSL tuts yet, but they look great too..
