  • yo kevin, how many times a week is rob doing his workouts?

  • The same old shit! chest and arms like the rest of the dickheads in most gyms... shit maybe ads at the end of your session!

  • After my last workout I puked the while night through. That was HELL.

The reason was I did what I never did before: lightweight squats for 20 reps.

I usually do 1 working set to failure. My previous workout I did 253x11 reps (+1 forced rep).

Last workout I did 110x20 reps (with no pausing between reps at all).

After this, it was trip into 24 hour-long nightmare: my head felt sore, I puked a lot.

To sum up, I decided to never again do high rep squat sets. Not more than 10 reps ever.Any feedback?

  • Man this is confusing, I been following Arnold's Encyclopedia for Bodybuilding for 6 years, and for squats he stands by high reps. So when I squat, I work for muscle failure around 16 to 20 reps. Should I stop that for 4 reps at a heavier weight? any thoughts on that?

  • @barberfiv I was doing higher reps and response wasn`t so good.

Started doing about 8 reps and heavy and feeling good.

Lover reps and add weight and see how it works for you.

  • @barberfiv Don't refer to that book for information, you're better off reading a exercise physiology book if you want to sculpt a great physique.

  • @barberfiv arnold is great and so is kevin i think the obvious answer would be that kevin is trying to add as much strength as he can to robs legs thus the very heavy squats but really just do what works for u

  • @barberfiv at the end of the day, everyone has they're different methods, you just have to find what works for you. I know personally for myself going heavy and hitting 6 reps is the key. Experiment over several months and see what works best for you.

  • @barberfiv use periodization techniques. cylce high rep training followed by a power phase with lower reps.

  • Light weight baybeeh!

  • Great Job Bro!

Kevin mentioned that he likes your mindset, a compliment like that coming from one of the best bbers of all time is huge. That is what it takes to succeed in anything!

Keep up the hard work, stay focused, visualise and get after it baby, this is all yours!

  • good work man

  • Hey Kevin how about some detail on Rob's workout routine and frequency. Thanks.

  • Как по мне он не разу не присел.

  • I really prefer smith machine to do my squat just for a safety reason, cause i always work out by myself.

  • lavrone, what are do you think of squats on the smith machine?

  • how much should i be able to bench if i can squat 315 4x?

  • @WeHaveNoUsername go on max bench press calculator online put in the weight you work with for the amount of reps and it will extimate your 1rep max.

  • I can go very deep doing squads, his squat is for me half my way.

if I would not go so deep, would it be better for me to increase my strength and size?

  • levrone shouting yeah baby while spotting him was the best part of the vid.

  • I woiuld love to challenge him. But i am too poor to afford the protien and levrone formula. i live on oatmeal and pb

  • awesome :) im a big fan of you kev!
