... This is what is wrong with the world. A FOOTBALL coach slaps the helmet of a player. The slap probably hurt the coach more than the player., and people still think that the coach is too mean and aggressive. IF you want aggressive watch Coach Saben at Alabama. You can't win 13 BCS games without a little pain.
What the hell? That was a waste. The coach was communicating, he may have been like pop and hey go out there and hit, or wake up, wathc the ball anything, that was not a slap. The dude was wearing a helmet for petes sake,
I've been hit harder by my 3 year old son...society is way too sensitive. My high school football coaches at a private school did similar things. Football is tough, life is tough - not everyone gets picked for the team, and not everyone gets picked in life.
We'll see about that. Just keep LMAO. That program is gonna be huge in 5 years. I remember when Texas Tech was a nothing school ten years ago and look where they are now. When Louisiana Tech hires Mike Leach in a few weeks their program is gonna turn into a national championship contender.
Well the sad reality is that no school outside of the SEC or the Big 12 will ever be a true national championship contender. The B(ullshit)CS prohibits it. However, if you are right and LATech starts wreaking havoc on SEC teams, I will be utterly thrilled.
I agree about the BCS. They screwed Utah out of it two seasons ago. So what I don't get is that Utah beats the dog piss outta Bama, what makes them think they wouldn't have beaten the Gators too? I hate the BCS with a passion and I hate all the irrelevant bowl games.
Yep. And the pussy BCS pits TCU and Boise State against each other so they can't upset anybody. I'm pretty sick of the BCS. It's high time for a playoff. On a side note... talk about the lamest NC game ever this year. Neither Texas or Alabama looked like top 10 teams in that game. Pitiful.
Yeah I saw that. Sonny Dykes is his name. It turns out he was an OC under Leach so apparently either Leach didn't want Tech or Tech didn't feel comfortable with the circus that's around him right now so I guess they got what they thought was next best thing.
yea i was hoping tech would pic up lech cuz tech needs to be running the spread cuz we got athletes like a mug over here we just aint running the right offense for these boy's yea kno
I agree 100% with what you're saying. We're not running the right defense either. We need something more aggressive than just a basic 4-3. I would like to see more 3-4 and dime packages for LA Tech.
Thank's bruh...Yea as soon as they change it up they gona blow up im mean look wat they did this yr they had 4 espn games an played all the big schools pretty good in my opion i mean they had navy tied boise i think they was down 7 @ half an they was up at lsu..an yea they needa do sumthing with there defense esp when u playin big schools outa conference u cant be doin basic stuff u gota make them play ur game
No Mike Leach lol. They hired the Arizona offensive coordinator as there coach. A good pickup. I still see something crazy that Dooley goes from a weak WAC team to get to coach for Tennessee LOL.
I don't know what The Vols are thinking. He had a losing record with us. We had a good team, they were just poorly coached. We actually three players that will be drafted this year, maybe more, and there will be more to come.
@yertmcneezy 17 - 20 and no conference titles. We won that bowl in spite of his shitty coaching. We haven't had a winning coach since Crowton and a conference title since Jack Bicknell in 2001. Sonny Dykes will change all of that. Dooley ran a fucking circus, not a team. He's nothing but a special teams coach and good AD. That's it. Now if you don't play for, coach with, or work as trainer for Tech, shut up because you have no idea what you're talking about.
That was over the line. I hate when coaches do that shit, they have no right and they know a player wont do shit back so it's really an unfair situation.
I think it was a slap to the helmet to get the player fired up. My coach did that all the time, it looked bad from far away, but it wasn't ever a direct hit kind of a thing if you all get what I am saying.
Yeah umm im a Marine and im not sayin we got hit alot but sometimes that crap happens and we took it as a sign that hey we messed up. and went on with our training.
what the fuck? this isnt fucking newsworthy! o my god a player was dickin around in practice so his coach smacked his helmet to get his attention! iran is news. not this.
Ummm i think every coach does this when his player isnt paying attention or mouthing off. I highly doubt the little coach hurt the big football player by slapping his helmet. lol
Dude, it's not like he abused him, he was trying to knock some sense into the player, and besides... The player had a helmet on, I doubt he would have slapped him if his helmet was off. Big deal...
If this is such a big deal to you stop watching football NOW because shit like that is commonplace and I can promise you that the player who got slapped (who, might I remind you is wearing a helmet and is twice the size of the coach) will be JUST FINE
my coach did the same thing to me and broke his hand and my head didnt even move so yea it really doesnt hurt the player and it really hurts the coach
