Thanks NicholasTam. I sat for awhile drinking some JDs and just forgot for awhile...I needed this. You play the song sir. The song...Just right for my liking.
One of my favs. I play this on guitar solo...nice to hear it played on piano
Hey you play great improv it's very tasteful, but I couldn't help noticing you play with no curved fingers. Were you self taught or is that a habit you picked up?
Well i must say, only 1 or two versions EVER was as sweet and rich as yours; and i have heard maybe 400 versions or so in my time !!!
A tribute to Frank,,,, the best one of all who sang and played and introduced this gem in this delicious way in Burlington, Vermont at Carburs Restaurant...(in case others of you out there knew him, too). THANKS, Nicholas Tam for an awesome and beautiful heartfelt rendition. Gracefully yours, "jazz".
Groovy. Are those keys on MY piano too? (grins ) I will listen to it again with some Irish Cream Bailey ...very lovely..Congratulations to Nicholas Tam.
thank you for another quality midi recording. Can't stand these idiots videotaping themselves with horrible sound quality. Mad skills bro. Keep it up!
This is just gorgeous; you bring out the melody so well. I've been looking out recordings of this song as it's on the setlist for a jazz violin gig I'm playing... I'm very pleased to have found yours.
This is my all time favourite tune and I believe it was first recorded by Johnny Mathis and appeared on the flip side of his "Wonderful Wonderful" hit
(45 RPM)record. It was not originally meant as a jazz tune, however, it goes without saying, that it lends itself absolutely perfect to that style of music.
Mr. Tam,I have enjoyed hearing many musical and vocal
versions of this fabulous piece but none any finer than your rendering. Thank you 5 *****
Epic man, seriously chilled playing!
