SideStix have ergonomic angles in the grip-tube & forearm-tube, which place the wrists & hands in a neutral position.
We use an Ergon bicycle grip which has a flared palm rest to support your weight with the minimum of fatigue. We also have an optional fitted grip cover made from neoprene. This cover prevents the 'slippery when wet' issue and provides excellent cushioning.
SideStix have patent-pending damping shock absorbers and rotating / articulating feet attachments.
This is absolutely amazing. I'm a T-11, T-12 incomplete and I use regular forearms crutches every day. I can walk without them but I waddle and my balance is not great so I would never go in public without my forearm crutches. My only complaint is they hurt my hands and when it's raining outside, they are very slippery. What is the difference between my regular forearms crutches and these? I look forward to hearing from you!
