Anyone notice how Kara said "there must be some way out of here"? Like in the song? "There must be some way out of here said the joker to the thief". Kara is the joker. Who is the thief?
Totally didn't even pick up on "there must be some kind of way out of here" being a related to the song by Bob Dylan....i feel like a frackin idiot lol
Superbe !!!
I'm still confused as to whether Doral pulled an Ackbar and yelled "IT'S A TRAP!" or "It's a trick!" I really hope it was the former because that would just tickle me to no end. George Lucas has ruined that phrase for me. What a great finale to the greatest series of all time.
What jackass got offended by me complimenting George Lucas? What a loser whoever did that. Saying "George Lucas has ruined that phrase for me" is like calling something truly awesome "sick." Get with the vernacular.
I agree George Lucas is a living god! If it wasn't for him, half of sci-fi right now wouldn't even exist...including Avatar and many other stories out there.
It did indeed! Now, imagine what the inevitable spinoff about young Husker fighting in the First Cylon War aboard a newly built Battlestar Galactica will look like. Imagine fleets of Battlestars charging into battle against fleets of classic Basestars. I get warm and fuzzy all over just thinking about it!
Well if you get the Caprica DVD and listen to the commentary, RDM makes some comments about how he finds the concept of following young Adama in Cylon War I very interesting and worth exploring later on. He also talks about how in Caprica season one he's going to be exploring the Inter-Colonial War that's brewing in that series (primarily the tension between Caprica and Tauron).
Ah interesting use of Cicero there...."In Time of War, the Law Falls Silent" if I am not mistaken is the translation. If you are a DS9 fan also I know you understand as I do the significance of that phrase.
@AllTerroristsMustDie I would have loved to get that sort of show instead of any other kind of prequel, really. BSG didn't focus exclusively on pew-pew the bad guys, and that was one of its greatest strengths, but a straight-up war drama following youngAdama through the entire conflict, making friends and losing them, fighting battles, etc, would have been amazing.

I just realized how extremely amusing it would have been if the series actually ended right there.

All Along the Watchtower inspired by god...as hokey as the angel thing is, this part is something I can actually buy into.
