My Thoroughbred! My Last ride!

I take him to the beach in just a halter and we go in the water and we just lay around and we've been through a lot and I hope I never loose him. But AGAIN you guys look AMAZING together

Awww you guys look great together!! I own a 16hh Thoroughbred Gelding 10 years old. He used to race. But he has the best personaltiy!! After racing he was sent to a slaughter house but my now trainer saved him and he came to the barn really skinny and dirty and I fell in love with him even though he was terrified of everyone! I worked with him A LOT and that was 5 years ago. I now own him and we do shows and I trust him more then anything!

I got one of them... He taught me a lot too... Love the breed... One day, (when he gets enough patience) I want to show him in dressage... This guy is beautiful :)

(: and I also trail ride him....he is almost bomb proof with me! (: when others get on him he acts like a totaly differant horse... ha.. anyways you 2 look amazing together((:

wow you guys are amazing, such a team... my dad is setting me up to see a thoroughbred for a possible loan but im quite nervous becuase of the breed its self and the stereotype, would you recommend a thoroughbred and is there any noticable trates that you can see in the breed about their behaviour that could be of use to me before i go to look at it??

aww thank you.. umm i would say when you go to look... have them trot toward you and have someone look at there feet when they trot toward u.. and see if they paddle... its basically them going in a better movement.. there legs that is( look at the front legs for this) Also i would take your hand and rub it along there back seeing if they crouch down... like act ouchy.. Its a very nice breed!! I LOVE THEM!!

thoroughbreds are lovely.

My first horse was an otb, and he was high strung and spirited, but he served me well when I rode him. He was a dream and I loved him dearly, they can do anything you ask of them.

Oh No! 14yrs is a fine age, he was also getting hock issues so he couldn't do exactly wat IU wanted him to do!

Thanks! He can actually jump 5ft but I was not ready for that! Then He was getting a little older and I was moving up in life so yea! But no I don't jump with a fly mask! I am not that dumb! I know I pump my arm I am working hard at it an I am getting better, it is just a habit! oh well!
