I don`t know if you have ever read it but i think you would be perfect for the first page of romeo and juliet by shakespeare. this video was good but that would perhaps sound even better.
Hi SuperTravisbickle, did you mean the speech by Chorus: Two households, both alike in dignity etc... or the scene between Sampson and Gregory? as a split screen vid could be interesting. You've set me thinking. I'll have a look at some of Shakespeare's scenes for two actors. Should be good for a laugh. Thanks, Eric.
Eric Storm on youtube, not famous more's the pity,
Sat in his armchair, deep and wide,
that he now presents to us with pride
- a pleasanter chair you never spied,
but, does credit to this ditty,
which though writ so many years ago,
that so many youtubers will never know,
this version,
'tis a pity!
I love to listen to storytelling, in rhyme or otherwise, and you did a good job of this! I knew you'd be good at this sort of thing from your monologues...
knobstick, hi Keith, wow, wonderful, witty, and an homage to Browning himself. Well done, and I hope that doesn't sound patronising. Thank you so much for the kind compliment therein, I'm humbled. I've just read it again at this point and I'm really impressed it is so good. I hope a lot of people read it too. Thanks so much mate, all the best, Eric.
tauwilltriumph, hi Aleksander, aw, thank you so much for the compliment. Recitation is something I've been wanting to try for some time. I looked everywhere for a chair like this and eventually I found this one in an antique shop. Thought I'd got a good deal until two week's later I found the dealer was having a sale, 50% off! Story of my life that. Take care friend, Eric.
foxtrotoscar67, hi Pip, Oh, joyful deeply thanks abound. Sounds like Stanley Unwin? Here's to yourself and Jon this Christmas time, have a good one, all the best, Eric.
gerdenshed, hi Mark, aw, thanks so much mate. Take care, hope you don't get a filthy cold like I've got now, lol. Best, Eric. Check this guy out folks.

You seem to grow comfortably into the role of story-telling grand-daddy in an easy-chair. Enviable! Wolf
