I did this mission like 1000 times back in 2007 because I didn't know the boat was there and had guns on it. I thought you had to take buck shots with the m79 lol. I still have the hotel owner's lawyer embezzlement story in my head.

by the first i watch this video, i thought name of the hotel is "samsung hotel" instead of "swasong hotel" lol

The trick is just to maintain a certain distance from the target boat. If you get too close your shots will hardly do any damage, but if you stay a certain distance you can take it out before you boat gets too shot up. I'm playing on the Wii too so it can be done!

on wii that boat is indestructible!!! it's imposible to beat that mission :S i've tried it about 20 times!! and i always die xD

this is weird..I've tried beating this mission so many times...i mean i shoot and shoot at the boat but all it does is start smoking but it never blows up...and those damn annoying boats always lower my boats energy...ill try and do it again well see what happends..maybes its because i have the wii version..i guess it could be harder...

Yeah, at last I pass the swansong hotel in wii with no problems. I'll explain, It's very simple

At the start, don't go to the beach, go to the west dock (where there's a floatplane icon)and call there your cigarrete gun boat.

Now you can surprise the boat from behind, so you'll have enough time to destroy it before the coastguards arrive... I hope this was useful. (and excuse my english) :p

when i shoot the boat its lifebar doesnt drop that fast, i can maximum get 3/4 of the bar. i play on wii.

Are you using Cigarette Gun Boat's twin SAWs or Tony's own hand-held gun?

i used the boat on the pier, but it has same effect as the cig gun boats twin SAW.

The way I finally passed the mission was drive to the beach (forget about the whole pier part) and call my Cig Gun Boat and start shooting at the yacht. Finally I had to jump out of my boat because it was on fire and then because of its explosion the yacht was thrashed. Then the other day the Wii just crashed whilst playing, I just think the wii version is fucked up! but fun.. yup.. fun as hell

I have the same problem. In Wii is more dificult than in Pc, the coastguard always destroy my boat. Now I'm triying the same that you do but, for now, I have no luck

What do you mean I used cheats? In the game you can replay missions, but doing so gives that fake "cheats enabled" message. If I was using real cheats you would see me go into the menu, but no "cheats enabled" would appear...
