  • Is that a hemp/cannabis plant at 1:33? ROFL

I want to live in brazil.

  • amazing...

  • I take it this guy and his wife are relatively comfortable with no finanacial worries? You won't have time for these ingenious, artistic projects if you have to go to work, right? Let along employing people to sort out your rubbish. Have these people written any books? Their amazing, creative ingenuity must be recorded for people and future generation to learn and admire.

  • wOw , this man and his wife = true artists

  • As far I have researched-The Zeitgeist Movement is the only Group out there that has brought up some Real and Tangible Solutions to ACTUALLY SOLVE OUR ECONOMICAL, SOCIAL & ECOLOGICAL CRISIS - watch "Awakening 1/4" (short video) and "Zeitgeist Addendum" to know more about it. Both of them are on YouTube. The SOLUTIONS presented in both videos are already being applied and they have already been proved to work in the short and long run. It's about time to expand/spread it World Wide.

    :) FS

  • @FactualSolutions

I completly agree with you, and I am going to watch the Awakening 1/4, because Zeitgeist I have watch everything as possible. Good words, Lets do it!!

I am proud of people when I see will and action to change and save the planet.

  • @Bsmerzi - hey pal - nice to see you have watched zeitgeist one, but zeitgeist 2 is much better - it comes up with amazing solutions...check zeitgeist 2 first

    :)

  • True work of art , they have a green pool too.

The reporter shouldn't use the word "rubbish" cos it ain't . It is recycleable goods .The sooner ppl understand this the better.

  • amazing!

  • Terrific! Pass on this video to others.

  • What interesting and beautiful homes! I hope the Toledos develop a book and/or website about their ideas and building methods!

  • Lets create abundance, sustainability, and well being for all the worlds people. We can do it, we have the technology and the know-how.

  • @silversobe

The humanity must 1st solve "greed & selfish" behaviour, and the "i dont care" attitude

  • Awesome.....great use of sustainable materials......inspirational!

  • I tip my hat (if I wore one) to you Mr & Mrs Toledo!! That is brilliant. Simplicity at it's best.

@pundit116 - most modern building methods will still not resist any serious storms/earthquakes or hurricanes anyways, so shouldn't really matter.

  • Cool.

  • beautiful and honest living.

  • Absolutely, wonderful art!

  • simply amazing, god bless him... we really do need to return back to when things were simple

  • I'm bordeline homeless. And i don't feel so bad anymore. MTv's show 'teen cribs' use to make me feel bad. but this put those 'teen cribs' to shame. just my opinion.

  • turn this stuff commercial

  • Does anyone know what town/region, in Brazil, this home is in?

  • Fantastic! I'd love to build myself a home like this!

  • @keyanage I'm watching this on my PS3 right now, no problems. Use the regular YouTube site, not PS3YouTube. Journeyman doesn't allow embedding, but fine quality right here.

  • This house rocks! Much nicer than those boring $2 million white and glass California cubes.

  • @jlya2012 - You forgot to mention that you want and expect everything in life for free. It's insane that you would forsake valuable knowledge in order to avoid a 30-second commercial. If that's what you're about, your leaving is nobody's loss, but your own. See ya!

  • Wow. This guy is a genius. Muito bom!

  • Really poor Brazilian right?

  • @arbide2 ur an idiot, it would probably cost more in production of this then to buy a simple house

  • @zildjianfan101 That was my point. I was being ironic.

  • @arbide2 ok

  • this is brilliant! my question is..with all these recycled materials used...how strong is the house? can it take sever storm? withstand earthquakes flood etc....

  • @pundit116 there are no hurricanes and tornados on Brazil =). Also, from what I could see in the interviewe, it's pretty strong.

  • That's amazing.. :D So awesome!

  • Incredible!

  • are they JEW?

  • here, in the usa, we are saddled with building codes and costs to have any free expression in home construction. There are never any rules taken away, only added as we go. This form of repression must end!

  • @99cachorro I wonder how well it stands up to earthquakes.

  • @CaligalinLibrary there are no earthquakes in brasil. My wife says there may have been a small shake in minas geris (she is from rio, taquara.

  • @99cachorro

nonsense, there are plenty of VERY experimental homes in the US. Like Earth-Homes for example.

  • the house is interesting, but i think it's the door that crossed the line, lol

  • I wonder how insulation performs in a house with walls of bottles and cans.

  • @Shalek In Brazil insulation is not needed :p

  • @BreadStoneburn I was thinking from the outside heat ^_^'.

  • @Shalek glass works very well as an insulator and so does news paper. i have made many things out of trash. aluminum cans also reflect the suns light well when applied correctly, the temp of aluminum changes rapidly as well.

  • I agree, houses are built very inefficiently. This guy seems loaded though. Is he rich or something?

  • carbon taxes HAHA this is real environmentalism

  • wow ,winner !

  • Yeah, cheap materials and beauty that's nature :D

don't cha just hate it when people are like ''i can't do it''

  • make your videos available to watch over ps3 journeyman

  • Speechless .....Nice

  • WOW that is amazing

  • Nice Vid...

  • very nice.
