actually, I've tried that on my linux mint cassandra, but i just can't seem to do it. how do i run compiz fusion? or am i just supposed to download it or something? iono, I'm soooo confused right now...
in fact, I've been wondering how you get the desktops to spin around in a cube like that on ANY distro. is there something to run or download? I'm not that code-savvy(i stink at the terminal windowz(XP)).
Hi, I just want to know if I can use beryl and all the other cool stuff. I'm asking because I have The las Version of Mac Os. Also that operating system have cool stuff, I think I like both but is very difficult when U have 2 operating suystem. Can you help me?
YouTube must be slowing down these days. I just got your message.
Firstly, do you have either Beryl or compiz-Fusion installed? If so, to get the 3D Cube just hold down CTRL + ALT + Left mouse button, then move your mouse or touch-pad.
Hi -- My d/l may have taken 2 - 3 hours, and I've got a fast Internet connection. Server load probably has gotten heavier over the past couple of weeks. Linux Mint has become pretty popular.
Hi -- I'm not sure what you mean. Go to your Beryl / compiz-fusion Manager. Look for effects, and 3D Windows, and play with the settings. That is how I got the applications to explode from the Desktop. They snap back when I stop rotating the cube.
ubuntu is faster...

Hi,
Well, I'm running Linux Mint Cassandra, which has Beryl, a 3D Desktop Manager right out of the box.
Here to rotate the Desktop -- that is to turn it into a cube, like the video shows, just hit CTRL ALT Left Mouse button. Then move the mouse.
I've switched from Beryl to the newest Desktop Manager compiz-fusion (CF) has more cool effects.
I hope that this helps.
