yes i understand that people change but just saying that you turned emo screams poser. Being clinically depressed isnt a fad or a stereotype so people shouldnt go saying they are emo. Punk is a different story where you are judged on your music taste, clothes and attitude. Stereotypes are relative and you dont decide what you are. Others do when they compare you to others.
