Are they coming out with another series, such as gaiden? I watched all of the saiyuki stuff when I was much younger. I got into it when it was still on encore at like 1 a.m, and such but anyway I just came back to the show recently and have a much greater understanding of it and would love if there was more....

i don't know how many times i've watched Burial arc here, but still don't get bored. Ukoku and Koumyou words make me shiver. the metaphors are so deep. Burial OVA did Minekura-sensei's art justice! I'm really happy a better animation studio pick her work! Hopefully Gaiden OVA will stay true to Minekura art also.

and this makes me wana scream "Reanimation!" for Reload arc ;_; Reload deserves a better studio for it.

^^ That would be in the Manga. Saiyuki reload when Gojyo and Hakkai are talking about hat they would do after the journeys over and Hakkai talks about how he'd probably like to settle down. I think it's .... volume 6? Not sure going to have to look it up again when I get home.

I love love love the manga version of Gojyo and Hakkai's Burial and I'm so happy the animated version is just as good. x'3 It actually looks like the manga art! Not like the deformed people in the Gensoumaden Saiyuki anime.

XD Its no problem at all. In fact I felt the same way about most of the series. Perhaps also the reason why I'm such a big fan of Hakkai is because of the fact that his youkai form is the biggest C*cktease ever.

As for action, it's mainly why I don't really watch the anime. Reading the manga there's a lot more blood, a lot more gore and also in one of the volumes that never made it to air they have the best battle ever of Youkai Hakkai vs. Youkai Goku.

no, in the manga hazel and gato listens to the guy with the bunny doll and almost kill goku - which provokes hakki to remove goku's limiter. hazel does sorta join sanzo after that because sanzo left the party for a while

well sanzo felt useless because he ran away to look for who almost killed goku. because he wasn't there with him, hakki could have almost lost his sanity and became affected by the minus waves and goku could have literally destroyed the world because even yokai hakkai could not stop yokai goku. gojyo was mad at sanji for not being there in that situation and i think sanjo felt stupid and mad at himself. he is sticking around with hazel to find out who attacked goku/feels guilty
