I suppose that depends on what you mean by the Constitution having a statute of limitations. If you mean an expiration date for the Articles and Amendments themselves, well of course not. If you mean for an injury that involves some sort of Constitutional right or provision, then yes of course there is a statute of limitations. Unless there is an explicit statute that suspends the SoL for a particular kind of injury or it is tolled in a particular instance, there is always an SoL. Always.

The case was about citizenship, not "natural born" citizenship, and they cited English Common law as the precedent of deciding (essentially every form of) citizenship... and as the concept of being a "natural born citizen" is merely a subset of being a "citizen," the decision ruled that you're a natural born citizen if you're born in the US... just like the 2 lower court decisions before that case!

I think McCain's role was much more innocent than Obama's. I think he allowed himself to be persuaded he was eligible, and really thought he would win. He was confused about the legalities and did not properly research the matter.

But the speaker here, Hamblin, is absolutely correct. This is a very well-written exhortation for McCain to do the right thing. He has nothing to lose and everything to regain both for himself and for America. History will then be kind to him, to say the least!
