They really had a great time working on this project and would come and work on another again in a hearbeat. I find it quite insulting that my 15 year old daughter and my 13 year old son are being compared to Hitler because they are actually interested and involved in our presidential campiagn. My daughter Shelby is the girl talking about her brother. That is heart felt emotion by a girl who adores her big brother and wants him to be safe. I made sure she knew her facts before agreeing to participate in this video. Kids aren't dumb, they can research candidates as well if not better than adults. I also realize that Obama hasnt lived up to his full potential, but he was handed an incredible amount of problems from our ex-cheerleader. He hasnt had enough time to effectively solve these problems. He is doing the best he can with what he has. I don't really take it personally, I just like any other mother want my kids to stand up for what they believe it and be proud of it. They really had a great time working on this project and would come and work on another again in a hearbeat. Thanks for having them, they are extremely proud of this project and I am extremely proud of them.

I find it quite insulting that my 15 year old daughter and my 13 year old son are being compared to Hitler because they are actually interested and involved in our presidential campiagn. I do believe the first admentment covers all americans, not just the ones who will vote. If you do not agree with what these young people did, don't watch the video..it is that simple. I am very proud of my kids in this video,as is their brother who will leave in less than a month to go to Iraq.

The Swiftkids Ads use much younger kids, and if you listened to the interview of these kids you, would see that they had no idea what they were talking about. They didn't even know who Obama was. conservativedude, go pick on some 15 year old conservatives. What banks were "forced" to give loans to unqualified applicants? Let's keep it simple - put the egg before the chicken - first the lenders were deregulated over the last 8 years (and we all know who's been in charge), then borrowers took advantage. Those improper loans were sold and resold by banks. McCain makes up his policies on a day by day basis - a real "Maverick". Just the sort of steady hand the country needs right now.

iiihexiii - well, actually if you don't turn 18 within the required registration period (which is a month before election day) then you can't vote this November. Many of the kids in this video will turn 18 AFTER the registration date and will not be able to vote. So, they WILL be eligible to go to war by November but not eligible to vote for 4 more years. They have a right to their opinion about their future. Just like YOU have a right to your opinion.

iiiihexiiii - indoctrination of youth - sort of like the Swiftboat Kids videos attacking Obama that are put out by 527 Republican PAC groups? The difference with this video is that it originated with a young adult and his friends (they do watch the news, you know) and almost all of the participants appear to be older teens. If you are old enough to go to war I think you are old enough to express a thoughtful opinion without it being viewed as indoctrination.

These kids are not the Hitler Youth. They aren't being brainwashed by adults. They are intelligent and can read and reason all by themselves. Obama is not Hitler - he couldn't be further from Hitler. If anyone in this country is following in the footsteps of Hitler, it would be George W. Bush (with McCain seeking to do the same). Bush has followed Hitler's playbook from the start. If you have read a modern history book, you can surely see the obvious similarities.

I can relate to the little girl who's brother is going to Iraq. My brothers is also going. I am also joining the military so there is chance I might go as well. My daughter Shelby is the girl talking about her brother. That is heart felt emotion by a girl who adores her big brother and wants him to be safe. I made sure she knew her facts before agreeing to participate in this video. Kids aren't dumb, they can research candidates as well if not better than adults. We should praise American Youth for taking a stand for something they believe in..I certainly praise my 2 children involved in this project.

During Vietnam the whole country took ownership, but today we are by standers, perhaps this video will bring focus to all young voters that the next war could be their personal war.
