With that said, i agree Romania and Bulgaria were not prepared to enter the EU in 2007 but a delay would have been worse as the countries profit from foreign investment under the community umbrella.

Romania so far in 3 years has been a net contributor to the EU budget whilst being given all sorts of crap from countries in the west whilst their own backyard turned to be dirtier than ours: see the PIIGS(Portugal,Ireland,Italy,G­reece,Spain).
