@hughj34 - and I've only discovered who she is today! But I know I liked this back when it charted in 1988. This from her 2nd album after going solo in late '84.

She had been rhythm guitarist for the Go-Gos. Now this is on my 1988 playlist.

My playlists for every year's music go back to 1900 and beyond on 120 playlists running up to 2 hours each. My 300 favorite artists each have a list, too.

I follow Jane's Tweets and several weeks ago she was tweeting about selling the house, packing up her stuff and moving out of the house, driving to California, etc. It was kinda neat to follow her life in that way since she was volunteering everything.

Bottomline is that while I'm certain the she's sold the house and left Madison for California I can't tell you whther she moved to SF or LA.

That was great! I was (and remain) a big Jane W fan, but I had never seen this. My sister used to work for Jane's old record company, and she said that Jane is as sweet as she appears.

yeah your right, Jane is beautiful and a talented singer, too bad she did have the credit and success belinda have, I remember in 80's always looking for this band fixed my eyes on Jane Weidlin, she hot and styles she create fabulous.

Jane Wiedlin's solo music was so beautiful! I've always really loved her solo music and her stunning voice but it's such a shame that her career was nowhere near as successful as Belinda Carlisle's. Jane deserved better than that but I guess she was mostly just a background singer when she was with the Go-Go's and I'm sure most fans of their's paid the closest attention to Belinda Carlisle since she was the lead singer. Oh well. I still really love Jane Wiedlin.
