They always recognize that For All Tid and Stormblast were deeply rooted in black metal, but say themselves that they have moved on from the black metal scene, while still drawing influence from 1st and 2nd wave bands... I'll be waiting!

@jibtastic1 Urgehal is one of the most classy bands in Europe. They are from Norwegian school that's why they still make corpse paint, many bands left making corpse paint also. Their music is still carrion, atrocious and old school. And almost all of other black metal bands make music with silly melodies and thin guitar tones and their works are as soft as cotton. Making corpse paint was a trend but as I said most of bands don't make detailed corpse paint anymore, it's not the trend nowadays.

All they do is posture on stage like rockstar posers and overuse the fist pumping and horns. Their music has become watered down and is no longer unique.

Urgehal, on the other hand, has remained true to the music with each release and is still brutal live.

Dimmu may scare little children, but Urgehal scares adults.
