@WayhoRachel I think that (most of the time) the people who grow up and die alone are the ones who never try. Of course they want to be in a relationship, but they don't go out and get noticed. They don't walk up to someone they find interesting and start a conversation or ask them out. Just like all goals in life, they won't be achieved unless you work towards them. =)

I got dumped more times than I NOT got dumped (which is twice). At the denial stage crying helps a lot. You cry and cry and eventually get kinda bored with it. It also helps to remind yourself that, as banal as it sounds, time actually heals and if you let it go in a while it won't hurt anymore. And yes, if he left - means he just wasn't right for you, so now you can look for the right one, who won't leave. (That was some epic cheesiness, but it did help me out a few times ~.~)

I think advice would be to pick out things that are going to be better now :) Every relationship has its restrictions and after its over you're free!! :) Also: Ice-cream stages are necessary for emotional healing!

I got dumped more times than I NOT got dumped (which is twice). At the denial stage crying helps a lot. You cry and cry and eventually get kinda bored with it. It also helps to remind yourself that, as banal as it sounds, time actually heals and if you let it go in a while it won't hurt anymore. And yes, if he left - means he just wasn't right for you, so now you can look for the right one, who won't leave. (That was some epic cheesiness, but it did help me out a few times ~.~)
