BA cabin crew average about the same as any other accross the industry at the end of the day, True there are a few of the Lord king era that did well and want to keep what they have. BA have massive debt problems, which need to be resolved. All Willie is doing is taking 1 cabin crew off each flight, which means the other have to work slightly harder. Not an awful lot to ask. I don't seem to understand why this is such an issue seems as other airlines run with far less cabin crew on each flight and get paid about half as much...
Try checking your facts before posting my friend. I am a Cabin Crew member for BA and I can tell you that we are certainly NOT taking this action over the removal of one crew member. Again - Check your facts and lose the attitude. The pay thing you mentioned is also complete fiction.

Willie Walsh if you read this,I booked a flight to NY for the new year 08/09 and you cancelled my flight from Manchester with 6 months left to go, you made it so I had to use London T5 + you wanted another extra £100,(everywhere else was fully booked) or cancel,I cancelled and got full refund, now I vow not to fly with you unless its absolutely necessary, going to NY this year with virgin your rival ;-)

It's implied that B.A, can actually afford to lose a massive 7 million pounds a day, during the strike , without it really bothering them.
Surely its better to come to a compromise with staff , and put that money to better use, rather than just wasting it due to bloody mindedness .
