I never said that killing animals is evil, it's just how the nature works. I just said that with this stuff, there is no sport. He just can't know he's in your scope. Doing this during the day and at a less long range is ok.
@labartic You are a pussy. Do some weapon fight with another hunter if you like weapons, there you'll not be a pussy; or hunt with only a knife the animals you are hunting if you like to kill animals, there you'll not be a pussy, or just come 1v1 with knives, so i'll prove you that you're a pussy....
@ro1ri Who taught you that shooting animals is evil and immoral? Its definitely more honorable to track, find, and kill an animal yourself than to just go to the store and buy some meat, or eat a hamburger at a fast food joint that you had absolutely nothing to do with.
um... ufos? no doubt theres alien life forms out in the universe, but you are wasting time looking for ufos? get a new hobby like shooting shit or finding the cure to everything
In the US you can pretty much own anything if you have the money. Europe is more strict about guns and shit. In the US you really only need a license for full auto gun, high capacity guns, and silencers
@caboose016 Silencers are 100% legal in the US with a class 3 gun license. A class 3 license lets you have silencers, full auto guns, explosives, and other types of weapons like flamethrowers and cannons
@caboose016 I live in Oklahoma You can buy silencers here. They are not illegal if you pay a $200 sales tax per item on top of the price of the silencer.
Thats a $3500 scope right there. If hes a hunter I dont know why he chose Night vision when he could have gotten thermal for the same price. Nontheless, I've been able to use this scope before its capabilities are unreal.
I got an amazing set of gen 1 google and head gear that out performs this. and it did not cost me 3,500. I see super crisp very very far. and even see stars that u cannot see with your eyes super clear. I can see facial features on people very far away a crisp. just gotta find somone will good skills in the trade.
well I say mine is amazing because of the price I paid and what I get out of it. I got a viper with head gear. Now you can focus the frount and back and make it very crisp and I use in on my beach and see far. I have seen a ufo with it, you can see stars perfect with this and it has a mount for the camera 36 mm. its all about the camera though because you could have a good NVG but it wont show up with bad cam, I paid $289!!!! u can get ir flash light and make it even better, or a ir lazer.
hey thanks. was looking at those but are they really that good?
i saw there was the ATN Night Star too but i can't see any comparrison to that and the Viper.
I presume it can be used without the infrared of course? does it eat batteries? heavy? is it really waterproof?
i need something for wild camping and can spend upto about £500 uk. The viper here is £270 (yep, not dollars!) and was wondering if i can squeeze to a gen 2 or at least a 1+
well I know this I see see stars crisp and I can see the stars you cannot see with your eyes. very tiny ones. I have one confirmed ufo I saw with that set. It was on july 4 and it was a star that started to move travel a distance then stoped and it looks like a star again. I would not put water on it. The batteries thing it donst just turn off it loses quality. I will ask u what u are using it for. I got mine for protection and to see ufos and mess around.
well, yeah defnately the UFO's in the sky at night is one of the primary things and it will very likely get wet because it will be used when i go to wales and it's the wettest place in england. Also, had binoculars before and they fogged up BIG time as the weather there is pretty unforgiving
Will also of course use whilst in the hammock when wild campingin wales but its for sure they will need to see the stars well and be water / fog proof.
hey sweetypie this is somthing to think about, if you want to show video of your NVG work it is more to do with a very very good camera. cuz I notice when I try to use my crapy cam it does look even close to as clear as I see it. and the fact that I do not have a 35mm cam yet but I use another and have to hold it up to it. like the videos of the army fighting with the NVG you will notice some videos look like they are using crapy NVG but its not the case it just a bad camera.
You are true about that, but you can get a thermal monacular with a scope reticle on the screen(custom) for about $3000 for the very very cheapest. Although it will only be 1x zoom non digital, then probably up to 5x digital zoom. The actual scopes are so expensive because the use germanium lenses to magnify the heat into the sensor.
how much is the cheapest night vision rifle scope out there and wats that scope called when all you see is the bodyheat of somebody other than the infered one
@DEUSwunz D-760 is Generation 3 (whatever that means) and will run you over $2,500.00. You can get Generation 1 technology for under $700.00 but you won't have near this quality. The Infrared is called Thermal. And that is currently running $4,000.00+.
Personally I've never hunted on public land in TX. I have a friend that deer hunts on occasion on public land. Its a drawing type deal. They have their dedicated stands and take you out and pick you up. Don't know how it would be for hogs. Pressure will probably play the biggest factor. To much and their nocturnal. Lots of ranchers will let you come kill all the pigs you want, but usually you have to get hooked up threw a buddy.
More like overrun in alot of areas. I hunt just south of San diego Tx. The pigs are everywhere. Only way to keep them in check is to shoot them on sight, and trap as many as possible. Its still a loosing battle even if your hunting and trapping all year. You just try to control the population. A Gen III d-760 is not $9000. More like 4300 with a hand selected tube. A gen III mum mono and 760 will run you in the 9k range. Great video where you at in S. Tx?
No way in hell. Digital NV has very poor light amplification which renders it completely useless. I had the SuperVision unit once, it was a joke compared to my AN/PVS-14
you just line up the rear lense of the night vision device to the video camera. and a lot of night vision monoculars have mounts available to attach to a video or picture camera.
Are you gonna shootem or just sit there? BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!

@baconator490 You moron... You dont need class 3 to own that shit. You just need to register it and pay a 200 dollar tax stamp.
Class 3 is required when you TRANSFER ownership. But to just own it, you dont need it.
