99-01 had the 4.7

02-04 had the HO

@shockracer Not true...99-04 could have the 4.7 HO. But it was in the Limited. The Laredo had just the normal 4.7

@yofoolmania you should look at the WJ bible before speaking (wjjeeps dot com)!! 02-04 ONLY was the 4.7 HO available for the Limited's and standard on the overlands!!

I got the identical truck .. i know you could make a better video then this. I have had mine upto the mirrors in water.

some advice is to go to a 15 inch wheel... 245 75 15 ... you loose 0.1 mph at 60 mph

@DieselSlug Then why get a Jeep? Is it for the 4wd? Should have gotten a Chevy Tahoe or Ford Explorer or something. Jeeps are made to go off-road and on-road. I had a 03 and when I took it mudding, Id let it set like that for weeks before I washed it. Nothing sexier than a Jeep covered in mud :)

@DieselSlug I like to keep mine muddy and beautiful. Sure it shines up real nice when I'm done, but the mud is a great way to reminisce on the fun times you had and show everyone that what you're into. Pig-sty is my favorite color scheme. Have fun guys!

I cant, the Limiteds only come with the AWD all the time t-case. So its always in 4x4.

@DieselSlug True the Limited as All Time AWD (Quadra Trac NP249 transfer case) but you can do a conversion with a NP242 T-Case (Select Trac) from a Cherokee to have also 2WD. Not too hard to do if you're a DIYer. Jeeps are plentiful at most wrecking yards for parts, since the were mass produced.

look only 2005 and up have v6 all grand cherokees from 93 to 04 came with the inline 6 or a v8

the 99 limited has a 360 ... 5.9liter v8

@PfrimmerDigital no,after 98` they quit putting the 5.9 in them...instead they went to the 4.7 H.O.
