keeping the gas down while u shift yes does give u a little more speed but when u take it to the shop, and have to get it fixed will it be worth it?

I'm pretty sure for a turbo car especially one this fast 3.27s would be better than a shorter gear, 3.08s are even good for a turbod 9 sec stang..explain how that would blow it up..it'll put extra stress on the clutch and tranny but blow it up? that's how I do and I beat my buddies times in their own cars.
