  • which render settings did you use in vue for realistic rendering?

  • 35-36 days

  • what the F* 862 hours, but animation is better than in avatar

  • That's beautifull! I have Vue 9.5 and I did some great scenes but I never had patience to render them.

  • Oh... and what resolution are each of the frames?

  • Fantastic and really inspiring I used to mess around with Vue a lot. I really like the scene around 0:21 keep up the great work. I need to put on a month long render and see what comes out the other side ;-)

  • Here are some tips to reduce your render time: pre-render the atmosphere, cloudlayers and use them as background images. Lower your Global radiosity to -2 and raise the sky dome lighting and shadow smoothing in return. Turn off cloud shadows and use fast render terrains when they are in the in the background or populated with an ecosystem. Don't use high quality or multi-layer materials beneath ecosystems or in the backg. Control the density of your ecosystem, plants should never be intertwined.

  • that was really cool, which renderer did u use?

  • Man this video it's just mighty amazing...

  • @thereegz This can be done inside Vue as well. Most materials in Vue can be set to glow a pre-defined color. I achieved similar effect with using spheres as the light objects and modifying their material to glow.

  • I would love to know how you made such massive mountains with Vue 9 cutting them off. Anytime I make mine a certain height it slices it at a certain point. Ideas?

  • @thereegz The lights were made with after effects with trapcode particular plugin and sapphire lighting.

  • cool !

  • @mustangersalie thanks you very much

  • Alright, I need to know how you did the planet Earth at the end, for a production I'll work on shortly..! :D Please :)

  • @J1Militans This can be done with a mlti-layered sphere. MEaning, you make 3 spheres one slightly smaller then the next with the same center point. Then make the top one semi transparent with a haze textue, the second one with a cloud texture. and the third and smallest one would have the earth map that you can get from the NASA website. To add lights, just add one more spere layer between the earth and cloud layers with a night map that could also begotten from NASA's website.

  • @mightygoodroad thanks bro!

  • class

  • where the fucking hell you get this awesome gras? O_O

  • great animation! Like you, im made a project in vue9 too for hobby! Now i learning poser and 3d max. Take a look in my project if you had a sec!

  • thanks very much, i will be in university soon and will be studying game design

I cant wait to get a hold of this software.

  • @Sswip

Yeh, also appreciate you writing back - most youtubers dont

Can i ask how long this took to design and how long you have practised

  • @Iceogon you ask me? how long time i need for create the video? or how long it took me to learn how to use the programs?

  • @Sswip

Both as i am keen to learn and would just like to know how long it would take to achieve that standard

  • @Iceogon I make these videos for fun and as a hobby, I do not have much time this makes me more later, if you try to learn from online tutorials like me, but you spend 2 hours everyday, it could take about 6 months. I have learned vue Xstream, 3d Maya, after effects and 3d max mostly.

  • @Iceogon Tutorials pages: 9 Vue XStream: geekatplay com Maya 3d google for now. 3d max google good many pages you'll find them quickly. Adobe After Effects: videocopilot net In carrying out the video about 6 months late, but if you spend 3 hours a day could create it in 2 weeks, not including what it takes to render.

  • @Sswip

thank-you, i hope you find more time to be able to create more, i love watching them.

You have inspired me to design my own world and i will write your name in my projects. I might not be able to start until December due to college and low funds.

you purchased vue 9 xstream yeh?

  • you can purchase vue 9 xstream, but, if you are in a university you can download Vue Pioneer its free!! and you can learn all with this, but the renders can have a water mark.

I think if you select external rendering in "rendering options", you can delete the water mark.

  • did u ever think of making a film?

  • @Iceogon I want make it :D,in fact, his name is EA PROJECT,I have already madethe screenplay and designs but, i havent time and i need more knowledge for create it.

  • @Sswip

aww, i have subscribed to your channel now.

are you doing this for ea?

  • @Iceogon no it no for ea, ea is a union of two words, that describe a little history, but I think that in the future will need change the name to avoid the confusion of EA.

    thanks for your subscription

  • btw, whats the music in that video?

  • @Scavskiller the music is Eye of The Beholder on City Of The Fallen.

  • one of the best animations i've ever seen...

    EPIC

  • @Scavskiller thanks

  • Wow.. that really took a month to render?... really nice

  • @akura2 thanks :D

  • This is a first class video animation!

    excelent*****

  • @Ricco3Dworld thanks

  • @Flowgeta Redercow is a program that will install to other pc, in your network, thereby using the network data sent and supports the scene rendering. This software allows you to have up to 5 without having to pay anything for it, but it has some limitations. For example: Not compatible with scenes containing POSER and other items you can find in the manual.

  • Que pasada! bravo Nacho

  • Your right its way better then vue 8, Great Job!!

  • @CendrillonDL thanks :D

  • Beautiful renders

  • @MASTERSTUDIOS889 thanks

  • Really good, how did you do the planet earth at the end?

  • @babzz711 thanks you very much :D.

  • Awesome. This is one of the best Vue animations i've seen on Youtube.

  • @vajrakilaya thanks you very much ^^.

  • Nice 35 hours is good imo, does vue 9 render faster than vue 8 ? what pc(s) do you have?

  • @apewaxfilms Render time: 862 hours

    Intel core quad core q9950 2,8 ghz, 8gb ram, nvidia gtx580 DC2 + Intel core 2 duo E6750 2,6 Ghz 8gb ram, ati 4870 1Gb DDR5

Thank you very much for your interest.

  • @Sswip too bad i dont have all of those... program.. lol i only have vue 9, c4d, ae and 3d max.. if i did have all of those program then maby i can help you with the rendering cause i have alienware pc.

  • woah! i love it!!!!! XD look like it could be a movie.. legend of the eagle!!!!!!

  • @aznboykillya thank you very much

  • 35 days to render?! How long would it take in 1080?

  • @Nicksmom69 prolly wouldve took about 5-7 more days.. judging on his info

  • @aznboykillya If my calculations are correct 1080 would have increased the render time x2 or x3.

The render time would be between 1700 and 2500 hours

I would have loved to create in 1080 and may get more computers when maybe I do

  • @Nicksmom69 The render time is so long because I was very picky about antialasing, in addition to the overpopulation of some areas.

I had to reduce to 360p, because of this.

Thank you very much for your interest.

  • this is top job..

  • @fmmira thanks :D

  • nice job man :D
