You're right, it doesn't handle like a european car. It handles better. I've owned an AMG55, driven an M5, and now own a CTS-V.  The car has firmer suspension than the previous mentioned, more torque, but it's tighter in the turns than an M5 or E55. I've pushed the front end a few times which is a little scary

Yes Caddy CTS-V CV versions have a V-8 They have been out since 2004. It's a performace based, corvette engine powered caddy. By the way. Most caddys have V-8s.

I like japanese sportscar, but that that cts-v is kick ass. it was louder than the 240SX just on starting the car then the 240 burning out. Gotta love that V8 sound. and if you listen carefully it sounds slight bit exotic when he starts it up, not that typical V8 sound. I do believe american cars are getting better, but this car did have some major german influences. regardless, I love that car.
