meh. flawed system. that fingerprint taking system actually takes an image of your finger(basically a mini scanner), so if someone had an image of your fingerprint it could work. a better design would be to use capacitive(I think) which generates a stream of data based on the layout of your finger.
It gave a false reading and failed to open the first two attempts. If this was an emergency, you'd be dead. I wouldn't post a video of a product failing to operate.
I own this thing. OPened it 10 times before I put something in it. Now it wont open back up. Only had it one day. It is quiet when you can get the doors open... not recommended at the moment...
i think the reason that it did not open the first two times was because his finger was positioned at an angle and it should pe scanned straight down in one smooth swipe.
He got an incorrect reading with his index finger, but then used the same exact finger again and got a correct reading. Why's that?
The only difference I could see was that he went slower with the "correct" reading. If I have to race to open this thing, and the adrenaline is flooding into me, I'm probably not going to capable of doing a 'nice and easy' swipe.
Anyone have experience with this. I'm looking to possibly buy, but I don't want to deal with it if it's a hassle.
From what I've researched,Its made primarily for stationary mounting in vehicle or wall. I'm betting that after being securely mounted it wont be so noisy. then again, what method would you prefer, a swipe/spring open motion, or a fiddle/OH CRAP I DROPPED MY KEYS now im dead motion. im goin w/ the one swipe/A tad noisy but im now ready to kick some intruder azz spring open method. lol

Who really cares how noisy it is...I'm sure it's going to be a heck of a lot noisier when you squeeze the trigger!

yes too noisy... I thought about one for the office but the noise would attract far too much attention. Glad I looked on YouTube for a demo.
