I added a comment about particle render types, why the hardware-render types won't render with the software renderer, but it was an inaccurate statement because they do render with mental ray (which is a software renderer). If you want to use the hardware renderer for the particles instead, you'll probably want to render your scene separately and then the particles in their own images; set the "Enable Geometry Mask" attribute in the hardware renderer to create a hold-out matte for the geometry.
@xFaize window>settings/preferences>color settings>3D view>background and choose the color you want, or you can cycle through some background colors by pressing alt+b
Alright great tutorial. one problem when I try to render it, it doesnt render the particles? It say rendering for particles skipped any tips on what might b wrong please help me out thanks 5 stars tho good job!
brother i choose my career in Media&Entertainment ,,, so i'm totally new in this field i want to learn ... can u tell me which Software suitable for me to create 3D modules and 3d animation
There are quite a few programs out there you can d0 animation, modeling and effects with. Some industry standards are Maya, 3DS max and XSI. There are sculpting programs also for models like Zbrush and Mudbox. Autodesk owns nearly all these you can check out their website.
well that was interesting, im kinda new to maya and wonder why whene i quik render particels dont show? and a tip is to talk abit more well stronger not like you just woken up.
yea, there is quite a flaw in maya when it comes to rendering particles. i suggest rendering it with mental ray. thats my only solution, sorry. btw i will try to be more enthusiastic next time. thanks for the suggestion!
That is exactly i looking for. Thanks you very much again, now my second challenge is make a good collision with cloth and wet the cloth. I know, is not easy but is just little bit of practice hehe. Bye!!

to render you need to add a dynamic attribute.
go to the attribute editor - particle shape1 - add dynamic attributes - colour
tick add per particle attribute
right click and select create ramp.
go to render settings - render using - mental ray.
render.
should work.
