hey, i did this same EXACT thing and it completely wrecked the 2x4. i did this after PB, heat, and a hammer wouldnt work. any other advice? i also cut the pins on the back that hold the shoes in to eliminate any thoughts of that being the issue
Cool invention! Just a question, did you try everything else before going to that length? Penetrating oil around the hub, taping the hub and or drum with a hammer, backing off the adjuster. Once again, I like tool that you came up with.

@tonygixxer I saw another video where guy beat on it with a big sledge hammer. haha maybe try that. I guess I'd also recommend putting WD-40 on it.

If you tap on the drum around the outer edge with a hammer it will come off. I never had a drum not come off using this method.
